Where these terms refer to "we", "us" or "our", they mean Simply Builds and Stoves NE Ltd.

Using this website

You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use in connection with considering or buying our services. You may not:

• Republish, sell or redistribute material from this site

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any server behind it

Nothing on this site is a formal quotation or technical advice for your property. Every installation depends on the chimney, the ventilation, the room and the appliance, which is why we survey before quoting. A written quotation following a survey is the only price you should rely on.

The content of this site, including text, photographs, layout and branding, belongs to Simply Stoves NE or is used under licence. Product images and specifications may belong to the relevant manufacturer.

You may not use our name, logo or photographs without our written permission.

Buying an installation from us

These website terms are separate from the terms of any work we carry out for you. In summary, when you buy an installation:

• Your contract is with Simply Builds and Stoves NE Ltd
• We survey the property free of charge and give you a fixed price in writing before anything is booked
• The written quotation, including anything listed as an extra, is the contract price
• Package prices assume a property with an existing, serviceable chimney unless we have said otherwise in writing
• Work is carried out by our own HETAS registered engineers, commissioned, tested and notified under Building Regulations
• You receive a certificate of compliance on completion
• Appliances carry the manufacturer's warranty, and our workmanship is warranted separately

Your cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and you agreed the contract away from our premises, for example at your home or over the phone, you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, we may charge for what has already been done.

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full. Nothing in our terms removes or limits them.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, including loss of profit, business or data, or for any content on third party sites we link to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top.
